Congratulations to violin professor Viktoria Kaunzner on the release of her new CD “Wild Birds” (Oehms Classics) with harpist Anna Viechtl. It is quite an accomplishment for Kaunzner, who released her debut CD “Ja(zz)smine Rice — Violin Mysteries” just this spring.
Wild Bird features a piece by Kangnam University professor Ja Young Choi (choicomposition@yahoo.com) as well Professor Kaunzner’s own composition “Der koreanische Tropfenfänger” (2011), which was inspired by Korean Sijo.
